J. Love Benton is a current Adjunct Instructor at Columbus State Community College and a PhD candidate at Antioch University. Her focus of study is increasing equity gaps in the field of k-12 education by focusing on leadership and understanding teachers’ constructs to have meaningful engaging,interaction with k-12 black students’. As an Adjunct, J. Love Benton is afforded the opportunity to use practical experience as an educator with scholarly knowledge.

J. Love Benton has more than 20 years of experience in speaking, curriculum development, professional development training for teachers and administrators, trauma informed care, and equity training. She has appeared on local and national television and radio news programs.
